One such example is the use of a direct trader interface with Customs & Excise ensuring all import consignments are cleared through customs immediately.
We also track shipments worldwide via the Internet and scan documents so that we can provide our network of overseas agents with pre-shipment information. |

As the EU evolves so do the opportunities for Future Forwarding’s trucking services.
We utilise our own commercial fleet of vehicles, which ranges in size from small pick-up trucks to large, 40-tonne articulated lorries. All our vehicles are fitted with radio control units allowing us to retain contact with the driver at all times and keep our clients informed on the progress of their delivery.
The result is a fast, competitive yet reliable delivery service that includes:

Training
| It’s important to have a basic understanding of import and export regulations and laws if your company is involved in international trade.
Having been in the international freight forwarding industry for three decades we have the skills and expertise to offer a wide range of training services including:
- In-house or off-site training for export procedures, documentation etc
- Long association with Department of Trade and Industry for whom we regularly provide export advice at workshops, clinics, seminars etc
- Training providers for local Business Links
- Approved training body for aviation security, approved by the Department of the Environment, Transport and the regions

Transportation of dangerous or hazardous goods
Regulations for the transportation of dangerous goods can be a minefield. At Future Forwarding however, handling such consignments is a daily occurrence.
As a result we have a team of specialists, which is highly trained in all aspects of handling and transporting dangerous and hazardous goods by road, air and sea. |
Packing, storage and handling
From our International Freight Centre in Leeds we have the ability to handle and process up to 3,000 pallets at any given time.
We can offer secure and clean, storage facilities, with full CCTV monitoring offering customers assurance that their goods are fully protected, 24-hours, seven days a week.
Thanks to our bonded facilities we can provide ‘pick and pack’ operations without immediate outlay of duty, resulting in substantial cash flow benefits to our customers. |
