Why Use Future Forwarding?

Helping you every step of the way

If it’s the first time your company has ever exported or imported goods the whole process can seem like a minefield.

What regulations affect you and your goods? Are the goods packaged and labelled properly? Do you have the correct documentation? Are the goods insured?

Not to mention which, out of the hundreds of carriers around, do you entrust with your valuable cargo and deadlines?

Even if your company has previously imported or exported goods it can still be a time consuming headache.

That’s why at Future Forwarding we like to forge partnerships with our clients. In essence we become an extension of their company – an export/import department that’s at the end of a phone instead of a corridor.

Understanding your needs

Many of our directors and key staff have worked shifts and driven freight vehicles, giving them a real understanding of the issues experienced at ground level. They are aware of potential problems and, more importantly they know how to overcome them.

It means that our knowledgeable staff have the expertise to work with clients to generate a realistic and cost effective plan to meet their export and import requirements.

Small enough to care, large enough to deliver

Although we’re now an internationally based company with offices throughout the UK and in the USA, we still maintain our ‘family firm’ philosophy.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly, helpful organisation that genuinely cares about its customers. In fact we’re on a first name basis with the majority of our clients, most of which are long term customers.

Flexible and accommodating

Although many of our day to day deliveries are standard freight forwarding assignments our system has the flexibility to respond to any freight forwarding challenge.

Tight deadlines, unusual shipments or special projects are no problem. In the past we’ve flown footballs to the England World Cup squad, racquets to an international tennis star and even shipped a replica of Stephenson’s Rocket from the north of England to California.

Always learning

To ensure that our staff are kept fully abreast of all new legislation we operate an on-going training programme.

The finishing touches

What’s more:

  • We own a fleet of radio controlled vehicles ranging from 7 cwt. vans to 38 tonne articulated trucks
  • Employ around 70 experienced members of staff
  • We are approved IATA agents
  • We are members of FIATA
  • We are a full trading member of BIFA
  • We are a member of the Freight Transport Association (FTA)
